What products are eligible?
Blood pressure monitors, thermometers and pulse oximeters are eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA). A weight scale is eligible for FSA or HSA reimbursement with a Letter of Medical Necessity.
How do I get a reimbursement?
Ask your employer about how to use your specific FSA. Generally, to receive reimbursement for your eligible purchases, submit a claim through your employer to the FSA with your receipt. You will then receive reimbursement for your costs.
For reimbursement of eligible expenses with an HSA, ensure the expense was incurred after the establishment date of your HSA, reimburse yourself with HSA funds by writing yourself a check from your HSA account or by initiating a check reimbursement or transfer online.
